J lead up a side crack to set our toprope anchor.

[494 x 600] [71.5 Kb]

This is the crack he followed and his feet.

[494 x 600] [127.4 Kb]

J at the top.

[506 x 600] [68.3 Kb]

I was the second.

[502 x 600] [66.2 Kb]

Kim is pretty good at camera angles, it isn't nearly this steep.

[404 x 600] [62.1 Kb]

[800 x 538] [95.4 Kb]

[457 x 600] [57.4 Kb]

J watching the gazelle like Dave climb the steep middle section.

[478 x 600] [50.6 Kb]

Ok, I fixed kim's camera angle. It isn't quite as steep as it looked.

[748 x 748] [162.8 Kb]

It does actually get a little tricky towards the top though.

[445 x 600] [55.3 Kb]

A happy Dave is now hooked on climbing.

[622 x 600] [61.6 Kb]

The south side of Rock Rimmon has a nice little overhang.

[457 x 600] [53.2 Kb]

They made me climb first. Since I didn't want ot give any beta away, I decided not to climb the overhang above me.

[409 x 600] [56.9 Kb]

J approaching the overhang.

[407 x 600] [54.4 Kb]

Without my beta, he was unable to pull the overhang. Or maybe he didn't want to spoil it for Dave, Gary, and Kim.

[407 x 600] [52.5 Kb]

J then continued up and right to bypass the overhang and finish the climb.

[407 x 600] [51.8 Kb]

Gary also tried the overhang, but then headed right.

[407 x 600] [58.7 Kb]

Dave also tried the route.

[407 x 600] [54.8 Kb]

Kim too.

[407 x 600] [56.2 Kb]
